作为课题负责人完成国家自然科学基金、高校访问学者基金、博士后基金、国家863项目、国家十二五支撑计划项目、教育部重大项目等20余项,横向课题50余项。编译专著2部。在国内外核心期刊上发表论文100余篇,SCI收录10篇,EI收录40余篇。申报和参与申报发明和实用新型专利200余项,已授权发明专利21项、实用新型专利5项、软件著作权3项。指导博士后、博士生、硕士生90余人。研制的药房自动化系统、码垛机器人、焊接机器人、机器人磨削抛光加工系统、飞机起落架性能试验台、火电厂输煤程控系统、水泥生产成套设备和污水处理DCS控制系统、智能化立体停车库、电动密集架均已实现工程应用,其中码垛机器人已达到国内领先水平;药房自动化系统2012年部级鉴定为国际领先水平。
